My work as a Funeral Celebrant is all about offering genuine, personal funerals, committal services and memorials, and helping family, friends and the community to heal, mourn and celebrate their loved one.

The pre-ceremony meeting usually involves a cup of tea, softness and comfort. I meet with the family and I listen to you and encourage you to tell stories of your loved one. Here we can explore what type of a funeral, your loved one, would have liked or has already asked for.

I help families create the best funeral for their loved one. I approach funerals with deep reverence and sit with you to explore your loved ones beliefs and values during our pre-ceremony meeting. I then show you different styles of ceremony and we discuss and agree upon what elements you would like included. Whether that be readings, poetry, songs, prayers or specific rituals and blessings.

I generally follow the procedure of an Irish traditional funeral mixing in other elements from other cultures and belief systems, if that is what is wanted.

I am here to serve, guide and comfort you through this time of loss, allowing you to have a special funeral that will always remain dear to you and your loved ones, near and far.

I appreciate and understand a family’s values, and how they want the ceremony to be and I am compassionate and sensitive to the deep emotions that can come with passing of a loved one. I always work with the highest degree of professionalism and ethics. Caring for the family and the departed with gentle love and peace.
